Parallel Sessions
The parallel sessions will feature 20-minute presentations and panel discussions highlighting students, faculty, and staff engaged in data or computationally intensive research. Presenters should showcase methods or workflows, such as data science methods, computational work, or data workflows. Submissions will be categorized into tracks to encourage community building and ease navigation of the venue.
Eligibility
Current Northwestern faculty, graduate students, postdocs, research staff, and undergraduate students are invited to participate. All submissions should involve research with a computational and/or data-intensive component. Research and scholarship from all fields are welcome.
Process and Selection Criteria
Abstracts are limited to 300 words and should describe the research to be presented, findings, impact, and how it was enabled by using computational or data-related work. There is an additional section to describe the computational and/or data aspects of the research to be included in the talk.
Up to twelve submissions will be chosen to present a 20-minute talk at CoDEx on April 2. You must be available to present in person in Evanston at Norris on April 2 to participate. You will be notified by March 8 whether your submission has been accepted.
Presenter Instructions
The accepted submissions must present their research to the general academic audience that will be attending CoDEx, with an overview or detailed description of the computational or data-related work. Slide templates are available for your use. Download slide templates.
